This is a complete, original set of vintage Yunzi Go stones, produced by the renowned Yunnan Weiqi Factory (Kunming Yongchang Yunzi Co. Ltd). These high-quality stones are part of the "Yunnan Team Chess" series (云南团棋 / Yúnnán Tuán Qí), meticulously kept and showing only minor wear consistent with age.

Yunzi stones have been crafted in Yunnan, China for centuries, known for their exceptional quality and durability. Though the traditional method was lost in the early 20th century, it was rediscovered and revived in 1974 by the state-run factory. Today, Yunzi stones are the official standard of the Chinese Weiqi Academy, used in major national and international Go tournaments.

Black stones appear matte black under normal light but reveal a translucent green hue when held up to the light — a signature feature of authentic Yunzi.

White stones are smooth and beautifully balanced. A hard to find authentic set
