This listing is for a pair of vintage grill plates made by Metlox in California. From my research I have gathered that this is a Series 100 pattern manufactured in the 1930's. Love the sturdiness and simplicity of this form as well as the stunning glaze colors.
The plates measure 10 ¾” in diameter. Both are in good, but not pristine condition. There are no major structural issues to report, just some minor surface wear and a small darkened area on the pale green plate (please look at the images), likely a result of another object (possibly metal or newspaper) having prolonged contact with the surface. The turquoise plate has a small area of missing glaze on the rim and pronounced stilt marks on the underside.
