Movado Acvatic Movado Acvatic resembles a pinnacle in the history of the Movado brand. The first watch, produced in 1935, features an extremely unique scarab case, which was produced by Francois Borgel, and is also the first Movado water-resistant case. The case is made from stainless steel and features a screw down back with a lead gasket and a cork seal for the winding crown. What is really striking about this piece is the gorgeous black dial, which is in immaculate condition. The hands still feature original radium luminescence that looks incredible under the sun. The lumi on numerals was nicely redone in the past, but under the coat of the new lumi, there is still the original one that can be nicely seen when looking at the dial at an angle. This iconic piece needs to be in the collection of every Movado lover. Don’t miss the chance to have this historically important piece in your collection.
