Antique French Real in Gilt Gold wooden frame Gesso French Magazine fashion Ladies
The antique fashion ladies from the magazine is worth 25 on its own. The real thing is the frame the frame is antique. I believe it’s French, but it could easily be Italian.
It is Gilded with gold carved wood
beautiful antique gesso all over the frame
at the top gesso work that’s over wire.
vase with roses and florals coming out the top with little scrollwork designs.
Scroll works on the top corners and the bottom has inverted vases with more florals
bottom there’s a Fleur de lis
all looks like it’s real golden gilt and then it has a very pretty ivory colored accents
The Jesso on top has little pieces where it’s come apart from the wire Work see photos and it’s cracking at the back but for its age it’s in relatively good condition
