42 Carat Gorgeous Flawless Jumbo Madeira Citrine!!

I love November's birth stone, the Citrine. I love that it comes in a variety of colors from light yellow to Fanta orange to whiskey brown. It is also, BTW, the traditional gemstone associated with 13th anniversaries. But you don't have to be born in November, or even be married, to love this gemstone!

This stunning, eye-clean (VVS) gem has a soulful orange-brown color with deep orange and yellow highlights, is cut in a precision octagon shape, measures 21.2 X 20 X 15.7 mm and weighs an astonishing 42 carats!! It was mined in Brazil, where the finest Citrines in the world are found.

Given the size of this gemstone, it is either going to make a HUGE blingy ring, or a HUGE pendant. Since my fingers and hands are pretty small, my plan was to set it in a simply 18K yellow gold (18K seems to have more orangey tones IMO) pendant without additional adornments because it is so stunning on its own. I'd love to know what you do with it!!
